Suggested Sequences
Straight Canal — Rotary Protocol
- Establish straight-line access and confirm patency with a size 10 hand file.
- Pro Series C-Plus size 10 to working length.
- Pro Series Glide (Silver) to working length.
- Pro Series Solo — Gold [S1 position] to working length using a gentle in-and-out pecking motion, 3–4 mm amplitude.
- Pro Series Solo — Gold [S2 position] to working length.
- Pro Series Solo — Gold [F1 position] to working length. Confirm apical size with a hand file.
- Irrigate, dry, and obturate per your preferred technique.
Curved Canal — Reciprocating Protocol
- Establish patency with Pro Series C-Plus size 10, pre-curved.
- Pro Series Glide — Gold to working length in reciprocating motion.
- Pro Series Solo — Gold (reciprocating setting) to working length. Use a light apical pressure; allow the instrument to advance passively.
- Confirm apical size. Irrigate and obturate.
Sterilization & Infection Control
Pro Series instruments are single-use. Do not resterilize or reuse. Discard after each case.
- Inspect each instrument under magnification before use. Do not use instruments showing unwinding, deformation, or surface defects.
- Store in original packaging until point of use.
- Dispose of used instruments per your facility’s sharps protocol.
Instrument Inspection Criteria
- Unwinding of flutes: discard immediately.
- Visible torsional deformation: discard immediately.
- Any instrument used in a calcified or previously instrumented canal: discard after the case regardless of visual appearance.
